Thursday after 6PM
EducationI am currently a postdoctoral fellow associated with one of the large scale physics experiments at the Brookhaven National Laboratory. I Graduated with my Ph.D. in physics from the University of Houston in 2012. My graduating GPA was a 3.85. For my thesis I worked at the STAR experiment, Brookhaven National Laboratory. I studied about the structure of matter. Basically we are trying to understand how matter gets it mass.
ExperienceI also function as an adjunct associate professor at Hofstra University. I have been tutoring physics from my college time, which is close to 15 years. I enjoy explaining physics, math and helping students with difficult problems. I have taken courses up to graduate level mathematical physics, classical mechanics, quantum mechanics and electrodynamics. During my scientific career I have contributed to more than 20 scientific publications in physics. I am currently working on my first primary author publication in physics.
HobbiesI am BIG fan of music. I enjoy both instruments and singing. I absolutely love almost all of the instruments, but, I mostly love listening to violin and guitar. Also I love all kinds of music. I love camping and back packing. These days I am obsessed with switching in to a cool car. That makes me a auto fan too (I guess!!) If I get free time I love watching weather channel, food channel and of course sometimes CNN :-)
