Located in Shirley, NY, I am a tutor with a passion for cultivating life long learners in all walks of life. I have over 20 years experience working with teens and children. My education, passion, and teaching experience have helped me to create engaging learning experiences for my students. I attended SUNY College at Buffalo, NY, and have five years experience in a formal teaching role. I also have extensive experience teaching in an informal role. I have worked as a private tutor, cheerleading coach, preschool teacher, camp counselor, and swim instructor. I am able to teach students in all age groups and skill levels. I excel at tutoring a variety of subjects, but I am most passionate about sharing my knowledge in Math, Reading, Writing, English, Grammar, and Computer Science. I also take pride in helping students develop strong study habits. My previous tutoring experiences have reinforced the value and impact of one-on-one learning. I believe students learn differently, and I enjoy creating lesson plans that cater to their personal learning style. Not only am I a teacher, I am a lifelong learner, too.
